About

A bit about me

I’m writer and researcher with an anthropological background.

I’ve written across various forms, including personal essays, reviews, poetry, and peer-reviewed academic articles. These days, I’m drawn to narrative non-fiction. I’m intrigued by how to tell true stories in a creative and engaging way.

Right now, I’m writing a book about the experiences of women and gender diverse people who do parkour, an urban movement discipline. Broadly, I’m interested in exploring concepts of embodiment, public space, gender, race, power and risk.

I also work part-time as an evaluator at String Theory. We do participatory evaluation and research for community programs. The main reason I work there is that the logo is inspired by the organisational dog, George.

My pronouns are they/them.
